Resumo

Káytone CÁTIA holds a Master's Degree in Human Rights and Bachelor's Degree in Geography, both titles from Eduardo Mondlane University. Since 2006, is working for public, private and NGO’s mainly as Officer, Program Manager and Coordinator of Technical Department. From 2013, he started working as consultant. His skills include planning, drafting proposals, project implementation, organizing and conducting events (training, workshop, meetings, etc.), procurement and reporting actions related to Environment, Health, Climate Change, Gender, Health, Education, Microfinance, Agriculture, Social Protection and WASH. Most of actions were funded by European Union, USAID, INL/US Gov, Global Fund, FHI360, Embassies (Portugal, French, Japan and Canada), EEP, Ministry of Agriculture, World Bank, Ministry of Health, GEF/SGP, UNDEF, UNWOMEN, GIZ, IWT/UK Gov and OAK Foundation. As Consultant, he worked with: - IUCN and AFSD to support the Ministry of Environment on development of Gender and Climate Change Action Plan of Mozambique; - WHO to assist the Ministry of Health on development of the Environmental Health National Strategy and its Action Plan; - Kixiquila, Pesquisa & Consultoria, Lda. for Elaboration of the Cotton, Textile and Clothing Strategy and Design of the Implementation Plan, under the Trade Related Facility (TRF); - Mott MacDonald to develop a background paper to inform the basic social security programs targeting orphaned children in Mozambique as response to the new social protection strategy (ENSSB II 2016-2024). He worked for WaterAid as Policy & Governance Manager. He was hired by Handicap International/Humanity & Inclusion as Deputy Manager of OFDA/USAID-Emergency Response Program for People with Disability affected by Cyclones Idai and Kenneth in 2019. He was hired by Wildlife Conservation Society as Counter-Wildlife Trafficking Coordinator. Since 2021, he is working to Montepuez Ruby Mining as Corporate Social Responsibility Manager.
