Resumo
I’m an Education and Gender Specialist by training, with over a decade of experience in the design, management, and evaluation of development programs that focus on the intersection of education, gender, and youth. I have a strong background as a researcher, lecturer, and Head of the Education and Psychology Department at Pedagogics University, where I have contributed to the development of innovative educational and research approaches. As an Education Specialist at Right To Play, I worked closely with global partners (Global Affairs Canada, NORAD, Sweeden Embassy, Netherlands Embassy) and Government bodies from the national to district level developing and implementing programs that use play and sport to enhance educational outcomes for disadvantaged and vulnerable girls, including in emergency settings. As a National Program Officer for Girls' Education and Youth Development at UNESCO, I focus on advancing gender equality in education and promoting the rights and well-being of adolescents and young women through the UN Joint Programme Rapariga Biz.
