Adekitan Isaac Adeyemi is a dedicated advocate in Peace, Security, and Humanitarian Studies, with a focus on Human Security and Human Rights. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and a Master's degree in Peace and Conflict (Human Security) from the University of Ibadan. Adekitan served as a Local Coordinator at African Students For Liberty, inspiring and mobilizing fellow students to champion liberty and individual rights. He also worked as the Oyo State Team Lead, raising awareness about human rights, peace, and security issues in local communities. In the political arena, Adekitan ran as a candidate for the Labour Party in the Iwajowa Local Government Area, advocating for policies that prioritize human rights and citizen well-being. Adekitan is passionate about education and promoting dialogue. He has engaged with platforms like Bellwether International to foster understanding and contribute to a more harmonious world. As the President of the Department of Peace, Security, and Humanitarian Studies Students Association, Adekitan combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience to effect positive change. His unwavering commitment to human rights and human security shines through. Adekitan is a member of the Society for Peace Studies and Practice and the Corporate Institute of Strategic Research. In addition to his pursuits in peace, security, and humanitarian studies, Adekitan is also an Artificial Intelligence enthusiast, exploring the potential of AI to drive innovation and address societal challenges.
