Resumo
Sergio Julane holds a master’s degree in Rural Development from the University Eduardo Mondlane and bachelor’s degree in Geography at same University Eduardo Mondlane. As geographer was involved in the technical staff CONSULTEC in Maputo Mozambique, in team study assessment of environmental Impact; After CONSULTEC he was working for The Hunger Project Mozambique, as Monitoring and Evaluation officer working around the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), empowering people in rural areas to adopt strategies to combat poverty and hunger in Maputo and Gaza Province. After 3 years working with this organization, he went to CARE international as Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in Health project provide technical support for national health system, support expansion of HIV and AIDS treatment and care in rural health facilities. After CARE International, Sergio, since 2011 join for 9 years at Fundacao para o Desenvolvimento da Comunidade (FDC), as Monitoring and Evaluation Manager in Global Fund Malaria Project, responsible for measuring the performance and evaluating the achievement of results of malaria Project. Since June 2020 until now, Sergio Work for UNDP as Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist responsible for result-oriented analyses report under the Mozambique Recovery Facility Program. This UNDP programme with fund of (USD 72.2 million), Mozambique recovery facility program implement actions that address root causes of vulnerability and build resilience to future disasters. The vision of the cyclone recovery programme in Mozambique is centered on development, governance and resilience; the program offers interventions that effectively facilitate the transition from Humanitarian Response to Sustainable Development and pays attention particularly to women and vulnerable groups; Trough 3 action pillars of MRF: 1. Livelihoods and Women Economic Empowerment; 2. Housing and Community Infrastructure; 3. Institutional Strengthening of the Reconstruction
