Resumo
Nicolau dos Santos Gabriel holds bachelor's degree in HYDRAULIC ENGINEERING with over 5 years of experience in several fields like, Construction Manager, BoQ, Contract and Maintenance Manager, Procurement, Purchase, Water boreholes Drilling, water supply, irrigation systems , Drainage and sanitation, QSHE, with different responsibilities. Nicolau worked in TEIXEIRA DUARTE -TDGI company as Contract and Maintenance Manager he was in charge of ensuring the operation of all existing systems (hydraulic, electrical, AVAC, CCTV and others) as well as civil construction maintenance in the Oil and Gas companies. Also, Nicolau was directly involved in ARA Zambeze on aquifers control regarding water abstraction and water quality control, aiming to evaluate the capacity and quality of the aquifers and get data for the database. He is acquainted with the use of electronic devices for the monitoring of groundwater abstraction, data collection and database organization. Nicolau also participated, as a hydrologist, in the assessment of areas and in hydrological data collection to feed a feasibility study for a mini-hydro aiming to increase the water supply of the water scheme of Nampula city. Nicolau acted as field technician and was responsible for Drilling of boreholes in Namaacha district. He was also involved in the monitoring of the construction of flood protection dykes, namely in Incomati basin, having the responsibility of controlling the construction plan and assuring compliance with the approved Economic and Social Plan. He also was responsible in the construction, rehabilitation and expansion of the military headquarters in Maputo as a Construction Manager. During this work he designed and was construction team leader of 4 sewerage systems and being responsible for the preparation of BoQs of the general works and its control, for the planning and acquisition of construction materials, for controlling the work plan of the activities and management of worker teams
